Aniqa Anwar MD

Aniqa Anwar, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician serving patients at the Center for Advanced Pediatrics in Norwalk and Darien, Connecticut.  

She was born and raised in New York and graduated from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York, in 2013. In 2016, Dr. Anwar completed her residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida.

Babies fascinate Dr. Anwar. She chose to pursue a career in pediatrics after completing her rotation during medical school and witnessing a level of care she had not seen anywhere else. The physician’s passion and commitment to excellent patient care inspired her. 

Children are so resilient, and Dr. Anwar loves being able to interact with them every day. She has a special interest in adolescent medicine as it allows her to be a part of the patient's life long-term. 

Dr. Anwar's goal is to provide excellent healthcare to children and their families. She takes the time to answer questions and explain any diagnosis or procedure to ensure families are always in the loop.
