Breastfeeding Support Center

breastfeeding support center

We are here to support you!

We are a group of Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners and Lactation Consultants that focus on prenatal prevention, early diagnosis, and management of lactation and breastfeeding issues. Our center is both a place for newborns to learn the normal process of breastfeeding as well as a referral center. We are uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat the mother and baby for a large variety of lactation challenges.

A consultation takes about one hour and includes a careful history and examination of both mother and baby. If appropriate we observe a breastfeeding session and actively work with the breastfeeding pair. After making a diagnosis we offer practical, common sense advice to help solve the issue. We recognize that each mother and baby is unique and our advice may differ from patient to patient. Return appointments are usually necessary until the concern has resolved.

We see patients from any medical practice and report back to your Obstetrician and/or Pediatrician. Don’t wait, get the help you need today!
