Elena E. Gazzola MD, FAAP

Dr. Gazzola is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in pediatric and adolescent medicine. Originally from Switzerland, she brings a multicultural perspective to her care and is fluent in six languages. Before entering medicine, she enjoyed a successful career as a professional violinist.

After earning her BS in molecular biology and psychology from SUNY Purchase, Dr. Gazzola completed her medical degree at Mount Sinai, followed by training at Bellevue NYU, Mount Sinai, and Mount Sinai Elmhurst. Her research interests span neurogenetics, dermatology, and pediatric gastroenterology.

Dr. Gazzola spent 20 years in solo practice in Rye, NY, before joining a group practice in Fairfield County and is now proud to join TCFAP. She has been recognized by the U.S. Army for her teaching contributions and currently serves as an assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at NYMS.

Her clinical interests include asthma, injuries, adolescent medicine, and supporting young athletes and performing artists. She is especially committed to guiding adolescents and young adults through the transition to adult care.
